Job Advert: Head Coach – England Over 50s Men’s Walking Football Team

England Walking Football is seeking a Head Coach for our Over 50s Men’s National Team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the most respected senior walking football teams in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly training sessions with the national squad (location varies).
• Oversee team selection, ensuring fairness, transparency, and a competitive mindset.
• Develop and implement match tactics and game plans.
• Manage and coach the team at both home fixtures and international tournaments.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong football background; coaching qualifications are a distinct advantage (UEFA C Licence or above desirable, but not essential ).
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• A deep understanding of walking football rules and strategy.
• Passion for developing players aged 50+ and promoting the game.
• Commitment to attend monthly training and manage the team abroad when required.

• This is a self-funded, voluntary role.
