England Walking Football – May Training Sessions
May saw another strong month of training and competition for England Walking Football, with both our women’s and men’s squads in action across two venues.
Our women’s team trained at Castle Vale, sharpening skills and building momentum as preparations continue for the season ahead. The session focused on movement, passing drills, and team cohesion — all delivered in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Meanwhile, the men’s over 50s and over 70s squads took part in mini tournaments hosted at the Birmingham County FA. They faced off against Red Dragons, Sealand, and the Caribbean in a day full of competitive but good-natured football. The matches showcased impressive teamwork, tactical play, and the spirit of the game.
It was more than just football — it was a fantastic get-together, with camaraderie on and off the pitch. Thanks to all players, coaches, and opponents for making the May sessions a success.
We move forward, together and stronger.
