🏆England Men's Over 40s International Debut

Sunday 26th October saw a fantastic debut for England’s Over-40s Walking Football teams against the Welsh Red Dragons, hosted at Castle Vale Stadium in Birmingham.

England got off to a great start winning all of their games. The results were as follows:

England (Dark Blue) 5–1 Wales (White)

England (Light Blue) 6–2 Wales (Red)

England (Dark Blue) 3–1 Wales (Red)

England (Light Blue) 13–3 Wales (Red)

Strong performances all round and great spirit between both nations! A big thank you to the Welsh Red Dragons players and management for coming to us and making it such an enjoyable day!

💪 October Training Round-Up

October was a particularly special training camp at Castle Vale Stadium, as we managed to host both our men and women together - we love the energy in the camp that this creates!

With all our men and women's squads putting in the hard work, we welcomed back club ambassador Peter Davenport, welcomed on board new men's 50s manager, John Barker and new women's 50s manager Rachel Harwood.

Thank you to all our guests, trialists, referees and especially to all the managers and coaches for the hours they put in.

📆 Tournament and Fixture Calendar - 2026

You will have seen on Spond that we're working hard behind the scenes to fill up the diary for 2026, ensuring there is plenty of football for everyone. There will be more to come as we're building relationships with other nations all of the time. Please remember to indicate your availability on Spond and be reminded that this doesn't guarantee selection. Please hold off booking travel and accommodation until you hear from your team manager.

We appreciate there is a lot planned and that not everyone will be able to attend every event, we want to ensure there is a variety of opportunities at different costs and times of year so that there is something for everyone.

EWF's priority will be the Masters World Cup in August - please ensure you keep this free as your managers will want to select their strongest squads.
