Congratulations to our Women's Section on winning all three age categories, making them overall winners of the Tri Nations and Celtic Nations Cup.
Manager, Mike Walker said:
"The teams, refreshed with new squad members and under new management, competed in the Tri Nation and Celtic Nations tournament on Saturday 21st June. Despite hot and humid conditions, England's 40βs, 50βs, and 60βs teams excelled at the competition hosted by the Republic Of Ireland Walking Football Association. The 40βs team won all their games without conceding any goals, the 50βs team showed resilience by coming from behind to win their first game and topping their group, and the 60βs team secured their title on goal difference. England's overall success was marked by winning four trophies, being crowned overall winners and showcasing a bright future for England Women's Walking Football"
